Hi everyone,
Next Thursday I am doing a live online session with Julia Trickey. Julia is a great botanical artist and lovely person who has a programme of online talks in which she invites other botanical artists to talk about specific subjects.
The theme for mine is, obviously, colour-mixing! In the first part I will explain the Bias colour system, starting with showing why I ditched the cool/warm system to be replaced by the much more reliable and logical Bias system. In the second part, I will talk about revamping your palette in 10 steps, going through a logical and systematic process to organise your palette and get rid of some colours and adopting some new ones.
If you need a refresher on either subject, here is the link to book:

I hope to see you there!
Happy painting,
Sandrine

Hi Sandrine, Thank you so much for the in-depth information in your talk! Do you happen to have a list somewhere of your re-vamped palettes?

Hello, I am glad you enjoyed the talk. I did a couple of videos on the subject on Patreon, including a more in-depth video about the new revamped palette. There’s 2 videos, a full list and a handout detailing the 10 steps for a successful revamp :). You only need to subscribe for one month (£3 on the lower tier) to have access to all this + dozens of other tutorials and colour/technique related posts. Best wishes, Sandrine
