Online live streaming classes from my art studio
Tuesday 23 February 21 – Drawing and painting snowdrops – 2 to 4pm – £20 – In this class we will sketch a few snowdrops and then choose the best studies to paint in watercolours.
Friday 5 March 21 – The Bias Colour System – 6 to 7pm – £10 This is a colour-mixing class… If you don’t use the bias colour-mixing system yet, you should 🙂 This is a much better way to look at colours, getting rid of the antiquated and confusing warm/cool method and insuring mud-free washes every time! In this one you will also have the opportunity to detox your palette: if you let me know which paints you are unsure about, I will tell you if it’s a keeper or a loser…
These courses are scheduled for the time being but are subject to change depending on the pandemic circumstances:
7 June 21 Painting day: Painting a rose
24 to 27 June 21 Painting leaves and mixing greens
If you wish to book one of my online classes, you can contact me via the contact page here. We can arrange details and payment with Paypal or an online card payment. I will then send you a link to a virtual classroom, where you will find all the necessary information about the course, such as instructions to join the live stream, materials lists, how to prepare etc. Please note that I use Google Meet for online courses and you will need to have a Gmail email address in order to access the virtual classroom. If you don’t have one, you can easily create one. Google Classroom is an excellent educational tool.
If you wish to have a private lesson, you can buy 1 hour sessions (£45/hour). You can contact me via the contact page here so we can arrange details and payment with Paypal or a card payment. You can buy one or several sessions. If you buy three or more sessions, you will get your own personal virtual classroom, where I will upload some handouts, post some assignments and copies of demonstrations done during the sessions. You will also be able to upload your work and assignments in the classroom. The 1 hour sessions can be used as a whole or split into two 1/2 hour sessions. You can send in a piece of work via email before the session or between the two for some feedback and help on particular subjects.
