A little wooden palette you’ll want to see!

Hello everyone,

For a few years now I have been using a little single wooden palette that I really love.

As I am planning a big holiday for next year, where I would like to do some plein air painting, I am putting together a painting kit that is light, pleasant to use, and as plastic-free as possible. Seeing what a success my tiny wooden palette has been in my every day painting kit, I acquired some (slightly) larger ones for my holiday art kit. They have 12 wells on one side and some mixing areas in the lid. I have one filled with watercolours and another one filled with gouache. There’s plenty of room in the wells to keep painting for a few weeks, and I can refill them when I get home. They are made of cherry wood, so they hardly weigh anything.

I am so thrilled with them that I ordered a few more to list in my Etsy shop and share them with you. You can click on this link to go to the Art Materials section of my shop, where you will find an empty 4-well palette, an empty 12-well palette and the same 12-well palette filled with my 12 essential Daniel Smith watercolours. The tiny one closes with a hinge and a magnet. The 12-well palette closes with magnets and the two sides can separate entirely.

I hope you will love these little beauties as mush as I do 🙂

Happy Painting!

Sandrine
